Scenic Records

It's time for offering Post Production Services here at Producer's Alley. International players like Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers, Disney, Dream Works and many more. If your looking for a Post Production Editor for your next film this is we're you'd look. That's right look no further then Producer's Alley.
Large and small film companies know sound design can involve. Field recordings of sound effects, Foley, in-studio recordings, recordings treated with plug-ins of different kinds (EQ, verb, comp, etc.). Sound FX and dialogue, backgrounds and music. Fully synthesized sounds and sounds produced with musical instruments.
Sound design help to tell the story (literally and figuratively). Sound design removes any and all distractions from the viewing experience to maintain audience's 'suspension of disbelief'. Also help the audience's sense of time and place. Great sound design can help save bad cinematography.
Believe Producer's Alley when we say, "sound and music are 50% of the entertainment in a movie".  We have some examples. Each example of the work we've produced is cited and is only for hiring. Again videos and TV Series were only presented for editing solely for hire.
Please do not us them out of the guidelines we've just specified. Remember all BG - Background, SFX - Sound Effect, DX - Dialogue, MX - Music, FOL - Foley, FS - Footsteps and AE - Action Effort was done in the post production stage. Keep in mind each we're pre-recorded during post production and added into each completion. Yes, this is the overall job of a Post Production Editor.

Today we'll take a wider look and range into Audio Mastering. Let's say, you've listened for hours to your finished mix and it's bounced down into  24bit / wav format. After listening you decide on getting your favorite professional released song and compare it with your finished mix. Wow, your's really don't come nowhere close to the sound quality of your favorite professional released song. Don't worry, that's where Audio Mastering comes into play.

The Audio Mastering Engineer can polish up your mix with very unique concepts and technics used in Mastering. First make sure your mix is just the way you want it. Vocals or tight, being the vocals are the protagonist and leading focus. They stand out more and each word should be audible. Respectfully,  in some songs the protagonist my be a leading instrument or drum roll. Whichever it maybe make sure it's correctly presented within your mix and makes a dominate impact.

While the protagonist is the dominate factor, make a note that all other instruments or heard clearly and if you have a co-protagonist make sure it's constructed properly within the integrity of the finished mix. You can also go back into your mixing stage if you'd need too. Going back into your mixing stage is done if a protagonist is not clearly heard properly within the mix. With music the number one rule is, "Have fun!".

Welcome to Producer's Alley Blog Spot and we have some goodies for our readers like always. Producer's Alley advice, "Before we get into our day of blogging, it's something that's been mention throughout the hallways of Producer's Alley almost everyday. You know when you park your car, it''s things you must conceder; like Who, When, What and Why kind of day. Here at Producer's Alley, our hallway was packed with employee's confined to that thought system of 'Who,When, What and Why' when it comes to parking their car. Our staff had meetings over coffee, meetings over pastry and back into confining ourselves into the hallway again! Parking is a problem."

We purchased a eight set mini bus, well that would be nine set mini bus with the driver set. Every morning we pickup all our staff and no one has to drive their car and deal with that, 'Who, When, What and Why parking system again'. Ge this! We even made our little mini bus a official member of Producer's Alley, by added our name and a fancy advertisement slogan. Give us a comment if you've implemented this little business additive into your company.  ****business sense
